How to play
- Meet the mystery. Everyone starts with 100 tokens. Each day, a box drops containing anywhere from 0 to 100. How many? That’s the mystery!
- Place your bid privately. Choose how many of your tokens you’re willing to risk before 7:30 PM.
- Reveal the winner. Bids appear at 7:30 PM. At 8:00, the highest bidder pays and wins the box—and whatever is inside.
- Get ready for the next day. Everyone else keeps their tokens, and a new mystery begins with the next box.
- Win the game. The player with the most tokens after the fifth box wins.

Only five will be used during the game. Two stay hidden—so you never know exactly what’s still out there.
How do I submit a bid?
Open your group link, enter an amount in Your Secret Bid, and tap Lock In My Bid. Your bid is saved privately.
Can I change my bid?
Yes. Return anytime before 7:30 PM, enter a new amount, and tap Update My Bid.
Can anyone see my bid?
Not before 7:30 PM—not even the host. At 7:30, every submitted bid becomes public at the same time.
Does everyone pay?
No. Only the highest bidder pays. Everyone else keeps their tokens.
What happens at 7:30 and 8:00?
Bids are revealed at 7:30 PM. The box opens at 8:00 PM, the winner pays their bid, and the box value is added to their balance.
When does each day begin?
The host taps Drop Today’s Box. It immediately appears on every player’s group page and accepts private bids until 7:30 PM.
Can someone join after the game starts?
Yes. New players may join with 100 tokens until the Day 1 bids reveal at 7:30 PM. After that, the group is locked.
How do I return on another phone or computer?
Choose Join a Group and enter the same invite code and player name. The game reconnects you to your balance, bids, and host controls.
What if two people tie?
The game randomly chooses one of the tied high bidders as the winner.
What could be inside?
The seven possible values are 100, 66, 50, 50, 25, 0, and 0. One appears each day; two stay hidden.
Does the box’s appearance mean anything?
Absolutely not. A tiny cardboard box could hold 100. A magnificent gold chest could hold nothing. Bid accordingly—or don’t.
How do you win the game?
Finish Day 5 with the most tokens. Everyone begins a new game with 100.
